Libyan Revolution Project 2013

A team of CSSR researchers have spent the past 18 months analyzing the use of Twitter during the Libyan Revolution of 2011. The researchers collected nearly 250,000 tweets about the Libyan Revolution from the fall of Tripoli in August 2011 to the death of Muammar Gaddafi in October 2011. The project employs multiple methods, including quantitative linguistic analysis, network analysis, and the qualitative coding of tweets.
