Dana Brown
Dana Brown is the director of health and economy at The Democracy Collaborative, where she advances economic transformation strategies that contribute to broad-based health and wellbeing. Previously, she served as the Deputy Director of the Next System Project. Brown is an expert on public sector pharmaceutical production and has broad interests in the political economy of illness and health, institutional design in healthcare, and industrial strategy. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Cornell University, an M.A. in International Relations from the Universidad del Salvador (Argentina) and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with a concentration in health economics. Her work has appeared in outlets such as the Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics, The Guardian, The Hill, STAT News, and The New Republic.
