CSSR Writing Group

Join the Center for Social Science Research for a weekly writing group for graduate students and faculty each Friday 9:30am-12:00pm (EDT). CSSR Director, Amy Best will lead these writing sessions. Each session will be hosted in Zoom. This is a weekly drop-in group. We ask participants to remain for the entire writing period.

The session will offer structured time to write, with a 15-minute check-in, beginning at 9:30 am to set writing intentions and a 15 minute debrief (11:45 am) to report on writing accomplishments for the 2-hour writing window. The purpose is to build in regular, uninterrupted writing, set writing goals, and work toward them.

Schedule for each Friday:

Check in: 9:30 am-9:45 am
Writing Period: 9:45 am-11:45 am
Debrief: 11:45 am-12:00 pm
