2026 Urban Research Hub Photo Contest

The Urban Research Hub invites you to submit a photo essay that captures the confluences and conflicts of urban cities.

We are interested how you use your original photos and descriptions to critically expresses, represent, and interpret everyday urban spaces and practices.

Your submission should consist of 3-5 original photographs (.jpeg or .png) and a brief narrative that collectively reflects the theme of “Confluences and Conflicts.”

Winners’ photos will be featured on our website and receive sway bags.
