Movement Engaged Hub Member Dhruv Deepak presents "A Seat at the Table: A Community Engagement Toolkit". 

This simulation models a real data center negotiation based on a case example that the Movement Engaged Research Hub has researched. Each party at the table, from the county board to the developer to a residents’ group, acts on what it wants and how firmly it holds to it, and every run of the negotiation can end differently.

In this two-hour session we’ll walk through the simulation’s website together, run the simulation ourselves on our laptops, and test one question as a group: what is a seat at the table worth?
