YRC News

The Youth Research Council (YRC) is a research collaborative and community-based experiential learning innovation.  The following are some news highlights from their impact on our community.

• Jeff Keller, a part of the Youth Research Council leadership team, is the 2024 Virginia Teacher of the Year! When not supporting the Youth Research Council, Jeff teaches U.S. History and African American History at John Handley High School in Winchester and is also completing his doctorate at a George Mason University. • Congratulations to the the members of the YRC who presented at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL in April 2023. For more information, click here.
